Set in 26 Acres (11 Hectares) of woodland

we are one of the largest clubs in the UK

About Yorkshire Sun Society

The club is open to members throughout the year and has an active social life, particularly at weekends. We welcome visitors between 1st March and 31st October and encourage them to join in with all events. We are a true naturist club; members and visitors can be naked all the time from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave - there is no "clothes curfew" requiring anyone to be dressed after a certain time or for any functions.

Our woodlands contain a rich variety of wildlife including deer, rabbits, stoats, pheasants and owls to name but a few.

Many members have caravans or chalets in clearings within the grounds for their own exclusive personal use during the warmer months, and for visitors we have areas set aside for tents and caravans, four hardstands for motorhomes, and half a dozen electric hook ups. We have one static caravan reserved for hire.

There is a centrally heated clubhouse containing a fully licensed bar and a separate sizeable kitchen for self catering by both members and visitors. The bar has few overheads which means the prices are modest.  We have a TV lounge, small library and Fibre-Optic Internet (KCOM Light Stream). We also have a covered and heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and a sauna cabin, and of course, we have toilets, wash basins and showers. Outside the clubhouse there is a sunbathing lawn with a brick built BBQ, but you can sunbathe almost anywhere.

For those who like keeping fit we have a miniten court (mini tennis) and for the less energetic there are 4 petanque (boules) courts. There are numerous woodland walks. Also available is a pool table, darts board and many other indoor games.

There is often a Saturday night communal meal and this is frequently followed by other social activities, for example a naturist disco.  A weekend favourite is pool volleyball in our heated indoor pool, as you can see in this short video:
